Celebrating Our Members – The Corporation des concessionnaires automobiles des Laurentides et de Lanaudière

On December 20th, for a second consecutive year, the Corporation des concessionnaires d’automobiles des Laurentides et de Lanaudière (CCALL) donated $25,000 to Centraide Lanaudière and Centraide Laurentides.

The CCALL chose to partner with Centraide in 2020 with the objective of donating $100,000 to charity.

Fully aware of the considerable impact that the pandemic has had on the population and community organizations, the Corporation des concessionnaires d’automobiles des Laurentides et de Lanaudière(CCALL) donated $25,000 to support the community as part of the Centraide 2021 campaign. To support the social security safety net that is so essential to the well-being of our community, the CCALL chose to make the donation to two organizations that work to fight poverty and social exclusion: Centraide Laurentides and Centraide Lanaudière.

Centraide now more than ever

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Centraide has proven its power and relevance. The federal government, municipalities, and several foundations, businesses, and donors have turned to Centraide to distribute emergency aid due to the organization’s competence and understanding of social issues in many regions of Quebec.

A steady flow of donations helps Centraide ensure the sustainability of its mission to fight poverty and social exclusion.

“The CCALL is proud to be associated with Centraide to address urgent needs and propose sustainable solutions. Our donation to Centraide makes it possible to take action on several fronts, such as meeting basic needs, supporting the success of young people, overcoming social isolation, and building a community that brings people together. I invite members of the public who wish to contribute to the Centraide campaign to visit the Centraide Lanaudière or Centraide Laurentides websites,” says Nathalie Aumont, President of the CCALL Board of Directors.

“Through this collaboration, we aim to fulfill our social responsibility by supporting organizations working on the front lines to meet the essential needs of the public. Ensuring the sustainability of community organizations is essential if we hope to address pre-pandemic needs that have been exacerbated by the current situation. We hope to provide organizations with long-term support to help maintain and strengthen the social security safety nets to which they contribute in our regions,” adds Christian Le Roux, President of the CCALL.
